Egerton Stud | Newmarket
The corridors creak with racing history at Egerton Stud. Egerton Stud is the main house of Egerton House Stables, located in Newmarket, home of horse racing. In the mid-19th century, it was first leased to royal trainer, Richard Marsh, and has been the home of many champions and stallions, such as Persimmon, owned by the Prince of Wales.
The goal for this project was to retain the essence of the quintessentially English surroundings within the design. Egerton House features what one would expect of a traditional English country home, floral wallpapers, fluffy carpets, numerous fireplaces, cosy bedrooms, always mixing the old with the new, to add a touch of freshness and elegance to complement the nice antique feel.
